Gecko

As some of you may know, my favourite artist EVER is Clayton Crain, illustrator of many great comics, the best of which being Carnage. Anyhow, the reason I mentioned him is because for a very long time I've made many failed attempts at painting like him, and in a million years I doubt I could even get close. However, I made an image yesterday, which after about 17 attempts I finally finished. This, I am quite proud of, the concept is cool, the style is nice and grungy and I honestly believe this is about as close to Crain's style as I ever have, and probably ever will get.

It's not brilliant, but non-the-less, I like it. I'm also probably going to do more with this gecko character, I really like him. The background could be better... but yeah, this was an attempt and most likely one of many.
